The night started as any other, with Roo doing all the work while Chris had a drive around the block! However, that’s where the norm ends. Andy Burr turned up and immediately headed to the toilets, THE LADIES’ toilets. Thankfully, Chris was on the ball to save those ladies. We had a very special guest turn up in the form of David Jack and a good friend from down South, Dean Roebuck, yes, Dean and David. It sounds like a 1960s boy band …

The room was full and the floor full of enthusiastic dancers, on the coffee-sized table of space the band had not spread out onto.

The music was electric, especially the guitar. Seriously, the atmosphere on tap was the kind that brings the best out of the band.

David Jack also blessed us with a duet with brother Chris, with their version of I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) by The Proclaimers

This was the last gig for this venue for 2025 however, we will be returning for 2026 and we look forward to it.
