The Big Man

There is a name you may have heard whispered in bars across the North West. That name is “The Big Man”! But who is The Big Man?

The Big Man is know to his friends and family as Tez. He is 56 years old and lives in Blackpool. Tez has numerous underlying health conditions such as Heart Failure, Kidney Disease and Obstructive Sleep Apnea.

You may see Tez wandering around at gigs doing some videography or photography. Let me assure you he is not some strange bloke going around taking dodgy pictures. The Big Man is responsible for all of the advertising material for JBB.

Tez is on a powerful journey of transformation — focused on health, wellness and living Larger Than Life. From tracking his weight loss to launching the Progress Not Perfection podcast. He shares real moments, honest struggles and uplifting wins to inspire others who are chasing their own self improvement.

Whether unboxing new health tools, lifting weights or sharing what he eats in a day, Tez believes in showing up with authenticity, humour and purpose. Every step forward counts and that progress is worth celebrating.

Charity Event!

The health journey that Tez has embarked upon this year has led him down a path of self rejuvenation, but, it has also given him a profound understanding of looking after your health. The Big Man can often be seen on TikTok carrying out a daily skincare routine in the hope of inspiring more men to take the leap into taking better care of themselves.

This journey of self love has taken Tez down the rabbit hole that is Prostate Cancer,. He was checked himself in 2021 and given the all clear. Tez understands the threat of Prostate Cancer to be:

55,000 new cases each year
1 in 8 white men suffer in their lifetime
1 in 4 African/American men suffer in their lifetime
12,000 deaths each year as a result of Prostate Cancer, which is widely known to be the second biggest killer of men in the UK

Tez has taken it upon himself to raise funds for the charity Prostate Cymru and will be taking part in a hike up Mount Snowdon on September 6th 2025. On behalf of JBB we wish him all the very best.
