A return to The Washington took place on 25th April and what a return it was…full of laughs, new songs and a massive singalong anthem.

The night started out like most with the band setting up and sound checking to ensure the levels were just right. Following a quick adjustment (or in laymen’s terms turn down) JBB launched into their first spot.

The venue steadily filled up until the atmosphere was bouncing and the public were singing and dancing along to every song played. Anticipation was growing for the new songs that had been teased at by Chris and JBB waited until the second set to perform the first of two new songs ‘Sha La La La Lee’ The Small Faces.

Following closing the second set the second new song had not been played and The Washington were ready and waiting…before announcing the song Andy went on a tirade regarding the band and the song but one the song was struck up every voice in the pub sang out loud and proud ( but no we are not going to tell you what the song was. You needed to be there to hear it)
