A Memorable Night at The Washington

As we approach the final stretch of 2025, our recent return to The Washington reminded us once again why this venue holds such a special place in our hearts. Saturday’s performance marked our penultimate gig of the year at this beloved pub and—true to form—it delivered everything we’ve come to love about playing here: warmth, energy, familiarity and an atmosphere that feels like home the moment we step through the door.

From the very beginning, we were greeted with the kind of welcome that only The Washington seems able to provide. The staff, the regulars and the dedicated crowd who make this venue what it is all contributed to an evening filled with positivity and connection. Over the years, we’ve built a wonderful relationship with this place and each performance only strengthens that bond. Saturday night was no different.

As always we were joined by some of our most loyal followers. Those familiar faces who travel with us through the musical journey we create each year. Alongside them we saw plenty of pub regulars who never fail to bring a sense of community and enthusiasm to the room. The mix of dedicated supporters and new listeners created a vibrant, uplifting atmosphere that carried through the entire night.

I can confidently speak on behalf of the entire band when I say that the energy you share with us on nights like this has a profound effect. The vibe in the room lifts us, fuels us and leaves us with a deep sense of wellbeing that lasts long after the final chord rings out. We never take that for granted and we thank every single one of you who continues to support us, cheer us on and make these performances so unforgettable.

With that spirit in mind, we’d like to extend a very special invitation. As we prepare to wrap up another incredible year, we’re gearing up for one of our most anticipated events: our final gig of 2025, commonly known and affectionately referred to as the JBB Christmas Party. This year, it will take place on December 20th at The Washington and we promise it will be a night to remember. Expect surprises, festive fun and the kind of musical celebration that has become a tradition for us and our audience alike.
