JBB Live at The Royal Oak

On Saturday 12th July, JBB played their debut gig at The Royal Oak – a venue steeped in local music history and a firm favourite among live band enthusiasts. Needless to say, we were buzzing for this one!

With its generous central stage and spacious wooden dance floor, the venue is a dream for performers and dancers alike. The bar was packed with a lively mix of locals and loyal JBB followers, all ready to soak up the sounds.

And soak it up they did.

The atmosphere was electric. A golden summer evening, good company, a few chilled refreshments and live music echoing through the room. It was everything a Saturday night should be.

A Night to Remember – Praise All Round

JBB were on fire with each member delivering a true masterclass in live performance. The crowd responded in kind and the feedback rolled in thick and fast.

One local summed it up simply:
“This is the best band we’ve ever had play here.”

Another kept it short and sweet:
“Decent band these!”

But perhaps the most touching compliment came from a member of the bar staff, who said:
“We’ve had fantastic feedback from our regulars, and honestly, tonight took us back to the old days – this was the best band night we’ve had in years.”

High praise indeed.

And it didn’t stop there, before the night was even over, we were asked to get in touch with the venue to arrange more gig dates. You can’t ask for better feedback than that!
