Saturday Night at The White Horse, Adlington
Saturday night marked the second gig of the weekend. A return to the ever-welcoming White Horse in Adlington. When we first arrived the place was quiet and we’ll admit, there was a flicker of concern that other local events might thin the crowd. But as showtime approached those fears quickly disappeared. Fans and locals began pouring in transforming the pub into a lively, electric atmosphere that only Adlington can deliver.
This time, we were without our usual rhythm powerhouse Paul Frankland, but in true Jack Burr Band fashion the show went on and how it went on! Our stand-in drummer Phil stepped up in spectacular style, delivering nothing short of a masterclass behind the kit. His precision, timing and flair kept the energy sky-high all night long.
Also in attendance was The Big Man from Visions by Design, capturing every moment for his third photoshoot of the day. (Yes, third, the man runs on caffeine, adrenaline and quite possibly pure determination.) As always, his eye for detail was sharp… sometimes a little too sharp as you’ll soon see in the photos.
All in all it was another fantastic night at The White Horse great music, great company and the kind of atmosphere that reminds us why we love what we do. A huge thank-you to everyone who came out and made the night one to remember. We can’t wait to return and do it all over again.
