Return to The Three Lights, Fleetwood
Friday night saw us head back to the Three Lights in Fleetwood for only our second outing at this now familiar venue. The last time we played here, it was a quieter evening, one of those rare opportunities where a band can relax, try out a few new numbers and almost treat the stage like a rehearsal room with a bar. But this time, things were different.
From the moment we walked in, it was clear the atmosphere had shifted. Despite the heavy storm battering the coast, plenty of people had made the effort to come out, shake off the week and enjoy some live music. That alone means the world to us. When the weather makes it easy to stay at home it takes something special to head out and we don’t take that support for granted.
Of course, any Jack Burr Band gig wouldn’t be complete without a bit of humour creeping in. As captured brilliantly by The Big Man from Visions by Design, Chris found himself a little… distracted by some rubber dolls on display at the bar. (We’ll let the photos tell that story, sometimes the camera doesn’t lie and sometimes it definitely does!) It gave everyone a good laugh and honestly, that’s part of what makes nights like these so memorable. It’s not just about the songs, it’s about the moments in between that stick with you.
When we packed up at the end of the night, there was a genuine sense of gratitude. We’re grateful to the venue for having us back, to the staff for looking after us and most importantly to everyone who came down, braved the weather and filled the Three Lights with such a positive vibe.
Thank You for the Support
A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support us on Friday, you did us proud. If you took any photos or videos, we’d love to see them!. Please share them with us; we’d be proud to feature them right here on our site and on our social media channels.
